Mine was a taurus 66 4 inch barrel blue finish.
I got it at age 14,still have it not worth much in value,
only sentimental value.
How bout you guy's?

Well, first came the Daisy BB rifle,
followed by some kind of pump up pellet rifle.

The first "real" gun was a Remington Nylon 66 in .22 LR,
followed by a single shot 20 ga.

I no longer have any of them.

It was a Sears-Roebuck, Marlin-made .22 bolt action rifle made in the late 40s or early 50s. My mom gave it to me when I was 10 or 11.

I had to be careful of the bolt unscrewing itself and the slide safety would come off just by tilting the rifle, but I surely had fun with it and learned a lot by using it.

Hello

Mine were a Sig 228 and a Mossberg 500, bought at the same time. I swore to the wife those would be the only 2 guns ever purchased. Now 40 guns and 5yrs later. She is still with me, and I tell her that they are "for the children."

My first gun was a Marlin 22LR bolt action rifle when I was a kid. I loved that rifle. Wish I still had it. :(

My first handgun was a CZ75B 9mm. I love that handgun and I still do have it. :)

I was taught how to shoot on a Ithica Model 49 single shot. The first gun I bought is a Colt Woodsman Match Target in 1968. I still have both.

The first gun I shot was .32 Webly & Scott Revolver. I have no idea what happened to it. It was my brother's and he does not know where did it go. Probably rusted into its demise.

The first gun bought was a .32 Rossi Revolver, and someone stole that as WELL!:fire::fire:

Then I did not buy handgun for a while and focused on other weapons, until in 1992 I bought .357 King Cobra pair, in black 6" and SS 4". Now nobody is stealing them two from me, and sneaking out alive.:(

Polish .22lr bolt action trainer given to me by an uncle.

First gun I ever purchased... a Charter Arms .22lr semi auto pistol that looked like a Mauser Broomhandle... I cant remember the model. It was horrible...

Next was an Ithaca 37 16g... still have that one.

First:

Marlin Glenfield Model 60 I got for Christmas at age 9

Second:

H&R single shot .410 I got for Christmas at age 10

Still have them both. My kids will have them someday.

What no chimpmunk rifle's?
A lot of marlin's,
My first rifle was a ruger 10/22 and first shotgun a mossberg 500.

Gramp's old Wingmaster, two weeks later an Enfield with the wire wrapped stock (may it rest in peace at the bottom of a slough).

There I go again, just half-way reading the thread titles!

You were apparently asking specifically about handguns, but it appeared under handguns/autoloaders.

Okay, my first non-autoloader handgun was a Dan Wesson Model 15-2 .357 Magnum with a 6" barrel. It was very nice but it locked up on me. After getting it running, I traded it towards a Taurus PT 92.

I still owned the DW when I bought my first autoloading handgun. It was an FIE Titan II in .380. It wasn't very refined in terms of fit and finish, but it actually gave decent service.

First rifle: Colt Sporter HBAR

First handgun: Colt Delta Eagle 10mm

I miss them both. :banghead:

Handgun: S&W 422, purchased when I was 18 and my dad had to sign for it. I still have it.

Rifle: Winchester 69A, Dad gave it to me when I was 9. I still have it.

Shotgun: JC Higgins pump 12 Gauge. I traded it for an old watch. It had issues cycling so I sold it and bought a Mossberg 500.
