What would you have LIKED to buy in the last 3 days but couldn't?

Nothing. I saw the lines stretching outside all my local gun shops in the last week before being forced to close over Covid. I would not want to risk a new gun owner not getting their first gun because I wanted a range toy. I would not want a new gun owner to have no ammo for a new gun because I grabbed a box, that I don't even need.

Went to the LGS today to get some more Hornady XTPs in 9mm and .40 and they were all gone. One case of CCI small pistol primers left. Of course no handgun ammo, no .223, and no cheap .308.

I have plenty for my needs. Pretty sure I have enough ammo to fend off the hordes of TP raiders that should be showing up any week now.

Cheap .32 acp ammo, but that was hit and miss before everything went sideways.

Had two boxes of Fiocchi JHP arrive probably the day before all this crap broke. Have a recently-acquired Seecamp I was going to feed some of it to. Glad I got what I did (I probably have a box or two of cheaper, FMJ in the safe, too, for the P32.)

Excellent line of thought.

Just for something to do, my 11 year-old daughter and I went to Bass Pro a few days ago. I went to the ammo rack just to see how bare it would be, and it pretty much was. All that was there was some .22WMR, of which I already have plenty. We ran into a friend of mine there who was looking for ammo. Right before I could ask him what caliber, an employee holding three boxes approached and asked if anyone needed any in .45ACP. I had enough already, and my friend replied that he was looking for .40 caliber. I would have offered him some of mine had he said anything different, but that's the one common pistol round I do not have any guns chambered for. He's kind of a newer shooter, too, and recently moved here full time from PR.

Fire up the Wahl, no guard, adjusted close. Go all over. Except the eyebrows. No problem. Makes it easier to put the Rogaine right on the scalp.

Wahl??? Those clacketty things had to go. I have been using a Remington shear with a built in vacuum ever since Kmart closed down a few years back. Bought it on a whim thinking that at 90% off I couldn’t be going wrong, I think I paid $6 and if it broke tomorrow I would gladly pay full price to replace it. Even at full price of $60 I am currently down to $15 a year and it’s getting cheaper the longer it lasts. The Wahl clippers I had only would last me about a year before they started vibrating loose to where I had to constantly adjust to avoid the noise which meant they found the trashcan quickly. For reference, I cut about every 10 days. Probably about 35-40 cuts a year... those remingtons are down to less than a quarter a use, and the vacuum thing works well enough as long as I empty it at the halfway point and again at the end.

Amen to that

Since this is my first experience with an event that creates a "run" on ammo and reloading supplies, I'd have to go with the pistol primers (both large and small) and .45acp projectiles.

I'm not OUT of primers, I've got 200-300 SPP and 300-400 LPP left. I also have a couple hundred SRP and 500 federal LPM. I have used the mag primers in 10mm and I've read that they'll probably be okay in .45acp as long as I work the load up from scratch.

But I just started loading .45acp, and I only have the 225 extreme plated 230 RN that I picked up from the marketplace on here. And they're either loaded or fired in ladder work ups..

Fortunately (or unfortunately), COVID-19 has my state on a "stay at home" order and I won't be able to unload my ammo.. so I guess I'm sitting OK with what I have loaded up..

A couple million shares of IMAC Holdings Inc.
I guess that's actually a 'could have but didn't' instead of 'liked to but couldn't'.

Governor closed all "non-essential" businesses. Should've got a haircut so it doesn't get in my eyes as I shoot at my home range.

I bought a decent hair clipper set about 20 years ago. Haven't paid for a haircut since. Figure about $1,500 saved, not to mention all the time wasted waiting to get it cut. What's it look like?? Who cares, I've been married for 41 years and not shopping around or trying to get anyone's attention. Besides, if I make a mistake I get another chance to improve in a month or so. The idea worked so well that I bought a high priced Andes clipper set for the Giant and Miniature Schnauzers we have had over the years. Saved even more money in grooming them. Now the dog & I are on the same monthly haircut schedule.

As far as reloading supplies, .22 LR ammo & firearms: I want for nothing. Bought it cheap & stacked it deep over these past 2 years or so since the last panic. Enough to last my lifetime & part of my kids' too.

A friend brought me a couple of guns to "look at" today. One is a 380 acp, the other a 25 acp. Of course after I look them over I want to shoot them! Neither are calibers I own so I made a trip to Academy. Got 380 but no 25 to be found.

They did however apparently get common calibers back in stock. Could have gotten "up to 5 total" boxes of 9, 40, 45, 223/556 etc. Didn't need those bc I learned from the panic hoard b.s. in 08.

Where ya at? I might be able to help ya out.

I finished my G17 P80 build. Used it for a match, loved it. Was going to start another one and my go to place was sold out. Not sure if it is normal sold-out or panic buy sold out. I have found them at other websites, but the prices are up a bit.

A super clean S&W 4506, in the box with paperwork, upgraded night sights (last year) and original sales receipt with 3 mags for $500.

I'm waiting to see if Da Verlt Ents.

I saw a Rossi .357 revolver stainless full lug for around three bills , I wanted to grab it , but figured I should hold off with this corona bug thing , and I am off work due to a ruptured appendix ,kinda have to be careful with my funds till I am back to work .

7.62x39mm factory ammo. Didn't know I was going to need any but a new pistol has appeared in a sweetheart deal I could not pass up. Going to pick it up this afternoon, according to theory. So, I will fire up the lead pot and cast some more slugs so I can practice while I'm waiting for factory ammo to reappear!

If the alcohol sales stopped....there would be riots. lol

If sales of booze stopped the hospitals would also be crushed. Alcoholics can get DTs and even die if they go cold turkey. So in times of emergency you gotta keep liquor stores open or people will die.

This is good advice. Every time I take the family in and spend $60+ every 3-4 weeks, it urks me.
I've DIY'd my haircuts for the last 20 years since it quit growing on top anyway. I use the clippers my wife bought when she went to dog grooming school but never ended up a groomer. I figured by the time I'm 82.yrs old I will have saved more on haircuts than she spent on school and equipment.

You mean, besides toilet paper and ammo? Those are the only things I would like to buy right now, but can't.

I should point out, I'm not allowed to touch my son's hair. He and Mama outvoted me. Make one joke about a mohawk and I'm banished from cutting his hair.

Also wish I could have ordered the bullets I wanted to try but were out of stock everywhere.
What's wrong with a mohawk?
I did my monthly stop at my friend's store and she was out of Fed small pistol primers.
I'm a necessary employee, so I'm going about life as normal.
