One fo the fun things about managing a gun shop where so much of our business is net related is the freedom the bean counters gimme to play around...also helps that we got enough juice at this point in time to order stuff without comin up with up front cash..

We are gonna be moving our location soon, and everyone at the shop is making me crazy...need to do something for my fellow man, so since a bunch of you have been hackin me to get some goodies out there, gimme some suggestions as to a gun for a group buy..ie what would you guys want to get ifin youcould get it close to dealer price?

i still don't have a good SKS... although I'm in kali so I'd have to have one modified :barf:

Uhm, what about some maks?

I dunno... i'd be cool with anything C&R :D

Things I'd be interested in...

Quality, mostly stock Springfield or Kimber (matte or stainless, no target sights)
Beretta Storm
Bushmaster carbine
Beretta 92
Browning HiPower

Ummm...I guess I'm easy. Someone else chime in...

Stainless steel, fiberglass stocked .22s. They're sorta the ultimate truck gun. I'd be so stoked It'd hurt. I need more .22s..

doesnt everyone?

Edit:any C&R handgun would rock. had 2 attempted break ins. Cant own a NON C&R handgun till I'm 21...I'm 19 now.

Well, I can tell you RAMIs are NOT good group buy guns...

How about Glocks or Sigs. Something semi-cheap that you can negotiate a really good price on.

Or, you can get a GB together on CZ 75Bs since I need one.;)

CZ 75 P-01 (or SP-01 when it comes out...)
CZ 97B
10/22
HK USP .45
Marlin 1895 Guide Gun, .45-70 (or .500 S&W if they're making one)
Beretta 92FS (I'd like a Vertec, but that's me)
Glock 20/29
.22 bolt action of some sort
M1 carbine
Sig Trailside Competition

U.S. GI issue 1911A1s, Singers at that :D

1894 Marlin in 45 colt 18 inch round barrel
Marlin 39 Mountie remake...

Special order S&W Mod 58 / 22 in 45 colt like the Thunder Ranch mod 21

I'll second the Beretta Storm idea.
Are you going to throw in any self promoting propoganda?(WWG hats?:D )

Put me down for:

Beretta CX4 Storm
or
Lever-action carbine like the Marlin 1894C
or
The new A.O. M1 carbine, if it's any good.
or
A AK variant

As for pistols:

Kimber Eclipse or Tactical
or
A good .357 wheel gun

A few ideas:

1. The new Auto-Ordnance M1 carbine;

2. Marlin 1894 in .357 Magnum (the regular one, not the Cowboy model);

3. Marlin 1895 Guide Gun in stainless steel, .45-70, with WWG ghost-ring sights and Scout scope mount (yes, PLEEEEAAASE!).

Come on, guys, who'll join with me on the Guide Gun thing? Daddy want!

.50 Cal. I can't for the life of me remember how to spell the name of the company, it starts with a B (barette?). And all the ammo you can get at dealer pricing.

Why do I mention this rifle?

SKS's are on the C&R and still out there, Yugo, but they are out there.

Current production guns: Will be there no matter how the renewal of the AWB goes.

.50 cal. Everyone of the anti's in on a mission to get these outlawed. So get em now :).

Plus, if it's a group buy, forgo the cheaper guns that will still be there, go for the gusto :D. I would.

Barrett M82 semi-automatic 50 cal long range target rifle. We need ten for a group buy.

Ok, I'll play. Remington 870. That is a cool shotgun. Taurus 62 gallery pump 22 for a useful rifle. A Ruger SP-101 in 32 H&R for a wheelgun. A EAA Biathlon Olympic or Ruger USA Shooting Team MKII in 22 for a target semi-auto. A major calber semi-auto to consider might be the NRM Colt in 45 ACP. Production, desirable, good reputations and warranties.

berretta storm 45 or 9
Bushmaster 22lr upper (no FFL shipping issues)

getting the Biathlon would require EAA importing enough...

i know!
hows about a group buy on those romanian AKs that got hung up by italian customs this spring...

Wild,
Thanks for opening the door to discuss this!
My thoughts:

HANDGUNS
Colt Sistema
The new Ruger P345 .45 auto
CZ-75 in some iteration (seeing ALOT of votes for this!)
SA XD-9 in some iteration

LONG GUNS
Ruger 10/22
Scout rifle of some kind (H&R/NEF or Savage 64F or...?)

Lol if you really want a 'group buy' there is a MG34 on subguns.com for $40000. All the high roaders could chip it and get that thing :p
