I just turned 20 a month and 2 days ago. Been shooting since I was 4, my first firearm was a .410 breakaction shotgun. Still have it in working order too, killed atleast 20 million squirrels with that thing =)
After that I graduated to a semi-auto 16 gauge, and a bolt action .270 with a 25$ scope I bought myself. Still have that scope on my only deer gun too. That came around age 6.
For my 8th birthday I used some of the money I got as gifts (80$) to give to my dad to buy a remington 870 from a DPS officer. That was my first self-purchased kind of firearm. I've got well over 4000rds through that shotgun since I got it. A couple of weeks later I did a repeat of what I did for the 870 and bought an m1 carbine for a little more than the 870. Only had a few hundred through that before it was MIA during an apartment fire never to be seen again =(
RIP
Then I bought an AK, m44, and my grandfather gave me an 11-48, and between all the firearms I own I've put over 25k rds through them, probably shot around 35krds overall.
Can't leave out my S&W model 36 though. My father carried it as his duty pistol for a good 30 years or so. The barrel is a smoothbore now and I took it over after he retired it in favor of a S&W 625, no idea how many times he shot it but I've shot the hell out of it.
Gotta love 25$ sportviews for lasting durability and the ability to partially maintain a zero after months of sitting absolutely still and never being touched except for occasional inspection for rust and whatnot.
tools for hunting group photo just for the hell of it.
