So, I've been antsy to go shooting lately, and having gotten a fresh new can of Mosin ammo to satisfy my cravings, I checked my gun bag this morning to ensure that I am all set to go on Monday. And a question popped into my head. Am I the only one who carries so much crap around with him? Does everyone else really even have a "gun bag" they take on range trips?
Because I'm curious to know, and just for the hell of it, I want to know what everyone has in their gun bags. If you have more than one, list them! My gun bag is a range bag and cleaning supplies bag, which may not be recommended, but it really works for me and I like having everything in one place.
I am only 18, and though I shoot a lot of guns on a regular basis, I only technically own one in my name, so my gun bag is a little centered around my Mosin 91/30, which I love dearly.
I have..
It's true. I take everything BUT the kitchen sink with me to the range.

I have..
- Two bottles of Hoppe's #9 Powder Solvent
- A can of Rem-Oil
- The oil bottle that came with the Mosin
- The tools that came with the Mosin, in a really nice leather pouch
- God only knows how many rifle patches
- A cloth pouch with all of my rod-end accessories. Brushes and jags and loops, etc.
- A few pads of red Scotch Bright in case of surface rust on my bolt
- A few sheets of sand paper, with varying grit levels all the way up to 600.
- The Mosin's Century Arms manual. I don't use it or need it, but I keep it.
- My cleaning rod, which are sections that screw together. It's brass. I really want a one piece rod, though.
- My 7x50 binoculars, to see how crappy my groups are at long ranges
- A T50 Staple Gun to hang up targets at the range, and a buncha spare staples.
