i was thinking of buying a xbox360 one day but its nothing that i really need. i could stick with upgrading my gaming pc instead(which isn't much more expensive than the 360 and the fees).

i know microsoft sells the windows for pc but buying a 360 would support them much much more cause they make money on the hardware and collect a fee for EVERY 360 game sold.

I don't care if he's anti, I still bought an Xbox360. It's fun and I can't wait till Halo 3.:D

You wanna get back at Bill Gates cause he's an anti? Play Perfect Dark Zero and mow down everybody with the AK-47(KSI-74 in game name) WHILE.......your REAL ak is sitting on your lap! HAHAHAHA!!!!

I've seen gun sites hosted on MSN.

Why would it make any difference what Bill Gates thinks if his companies don't impose it on you?

Uh.. I won't even pretend that makes any sense or is funny.

"I don't care if he's anti, I still bought an Xbox360. It's fun and I can't wait till Halo 3."

so you are willing to trade the 2nd amendment for some fun video games. i like video games also but i value my rights much much more. i will not support the xbox 360.

you know microsoft is trying to take over the video game industry. if they do this whats next? what will they do with all that extra money? support anti gun congress, president.

i can understand bill gates being anit gun for the people. it will be easier for him to take control of this country then the world.

i couldn't care less about halo. my 10 year old nephew play that garbage. im more into ghost recon and red orchestra. they are better on the pc anyway.

i did pay for my copy of windows xp years ago but i will never buy another microsoft os. i have no interest in vista and its live scam(micro scam). i will however d/l vista illegally if i really need it. i won't buy any pc games developed or published by micro for the pc anymore.

Microsoft makes far more money selling Windows and Office than it does on any hardware product. They lose money on X-Box sales, as the hardware is subsidized, though they have a chance to make it back with game sales, subscriptions, etc.

I thought Gates didn't really run the company anymore? Who cares what his personal views are. He's not the company.

"They lose money on X-Box sales"

yea they lost money on the original xbox but they make a profit on each xbox 360 sold. they collect a fee for every xbox 360 game sold. they make lots of money on the "live scam". if they publish the game they make even more money. they may even get a cut for all the d/l content scams that are on live nowdays.

Hey, I'd blow my head off before I'd trade the 2nd.

Many companies and what ever are anti gun and we all still buy stuff from them. Just because a company might be anti doesn't mean we should all boycott them. That might leave us with NOTHING.

If you found out that the company you work for is anti, would you quit? Knowing that it pays alot of money and puts food in your children's mouths?

What if you drive a Ford and found out they are anti, you gonna burn your car?

You are just like the fence sitters!!! If they don't have any interest in something, they want it thrown out!:fire:

I don't care what Bill Gates thinks about gun control. He is already the richest man in the United States so it doesn't matter how much more money he gets, because it won't allow him to do anything he cannot already do. Plus I never hear about Gates like I do Soros.

lol, what?

if i found out the people who i worked for where anti gun i would find another job yes.

is ford anti? i wouldn't burn my truck but i wouldn't buy from them if they where.

i just asked about micro cause they are huge, powerful and want to take over everything. plus video games aren't important like a truck or job. well to me they aren't.

Microsoft itself is not anti gun. I am sure a large segment of their working populace is but the company does not have a stance. They have a company gun club that is active and several members help with the Friends of NRA auctions locally both in person and by donating software.

They will even go so far to match your individual employee donation to any qualified non-profit organization such as the Friends of NRA.

I hope that helps otherwise a lot of us are going to move to Linux.:D

And you were typing that from a Mac with a non-Microsoft OS, right? ;)

I don't own an X-Box, I got the PS-2. Much cheaper and no shortage of games.

It isn't possible to know every company that is anti-gun, but I do try to find out what I can. I absolutely make it a point not to purchase anything from a company with these kinds of policies. I say put your money where your mouth is. If you truly support RKBA you will spend money where you know it won't be used to undermine the cause.

they're anti - because they all know that guns would lead to us all shooting Clippy.

"Error 911: You've shot and killed clippy. Application has terminated unexpectedly due to funeral."

That is like saying I will steal from an anti gun person because I disagree with their views.

If your grocery store posted an anti-gun or no-CCW sign would you feel that your entitled to go in and help yourself to some groceries?

No matter how anti-gun microsoft is, it cannot compare with how bad japan is with gun-control.

True enough. However, in my opinion, Micro$oft has a much greater potential of impacting negatively our 2nd Amendment rights than Japan does.
