How many different calibers do you own? If you own many different calibers, is there a reason, other than collecting? I currently own rifles in 6 different calibers:
.22
.223
7.62x39
.30-30
6.5x55
.30-06
I dont use the .30-30 other than a truck gun. If I really wanted to I could eliminate that, and put my AK in my truck. But the .30-30 was my Dad's, so its place is safe & sound in my arsenal. I dont need my AR's. But they're just so darned fun to shoot, and my 16" A3 lives on the side of my bed. Why do I own a 6.5 Swede, you ask? I dont know, honestly. I shoot it at the range, I once thought of replacing my .30-06, which is my go-to-deer gun, with it. But that'll never happen; Im a guy that doesnt like to fix what aint broke.
Honestly, I could eliminate 3 calibers from my arsenal, lowering my overall "caliber footprint" to 3 different rifle cartridges. Thus making ammo purchases easy. What about you.?
