Whats your favorite Conceal Carry Gun?

If I could only have 1, it would be the CZ RAMI.

I have a P3AT for an "Always" gun, and the full family of CZs (in 40 S&W except for the 97) for whater may be appropriate. RAMI (love it for the light weight, small size, C&L, and 8+1 of 40), CZ 85 Compact (really to wide and heavy to be regularly used but shoots like a full size 9mm), and a full size 75B and 97B when It's easy to conceal. Depending on what I'm wearing and doing I'll be packing as much firepower as I can.

My favorite? The one I'm wearing right now.

I just got back in from walking the dog and it is about 10:30 at night. My Kimber Custom Shop Ultra CDP (first year, pre-Series II) officer's-size .45 auto sits holstered on my left, with a dual magazine Safariland holder on the right.

It's flatter than the Glocks and Springfields and I can shoot it very well. Factory Nightsights are also a nice touch.

IN THE SUMMER? It might be my tiny Kel-Tec P32 (my BUG), or my 6-shot Colt Agent (1st issue) snubbie w/aluminum frame.

IN THE WINTER? It might be the gun in my avitar . . . my favorite handgun period, my chopped barrel S&W 25-2 .45ACP revolver under a heavier coat.

Then again . . . that M65 3" sometimes beckons. Or . . . ;)

If you can see my belt, its a Kel-Tec P-3AT. If the belt is hidden by a covering garment, its a Taurus PT-145.

Mine is the ultimate combination of small size, light weight, and firepower:

The Glock 29

I carry a 10-round mag in it, with a 15 as a backup.

You can't beat 25 rounds of hot 10mm.

I favor my 3" 65-3 loaded with winchester 145gr
silvertips carried in a desantis OWB holster. My
BUG is a 642-2 loaded with the excellent Black
hills 125gr +P with the Gold dot bullet.

Glock model 17 daily. If for a unusual reason its not my G17, either my Sig Sauer P229 or Beretta 8000F Cougar 9mm.

I typically carry either my Glock 29 (10+1 10mm) or my Kimber Pro Raptor II (8+1 45 ACP). Both conceal well and provide more than sufficient firepower.

Sig P239 9mm decocker daily carry

Springfield XD9 Service when at the gun range for the highcap mags.

Glock 21 if I have heavy clothing to cover it, and I think I am going somewhere where a nice big highcap .45 would be advantageous.

For Example: I am meeting a guy tomorrow who wants to buy a car I am selling. The fella is acting kinda funny, saying things in a certain way that bugs me- Stuff like, so do you live alone? What do you do with the money after I pay you?:scrutiny:
And he had to scrape up money to buy the car then he offers me a sizable bonus, and wants me to deliver the car to his house which is in a fairly rotten part of town. :scrutiny:
Instead we will meet in a very public place, where I know there is lots of cameras and armed security nearby. And I will be packing G21, with 15 rds x2 mags of Black Talons. And if he or his homies want to rock I think I can accomodate him.

I'd CCW that P226 through the winter at least. This will teach you the value of good carry gear and that you can conceal a full size pistol no problem. Spend the $$ on training, good belt & holster now.

Oh, my favorite CCW? Kahr K9. However, when I get home, I'm gonna get a good holster for my Sig P226 & start carrying it as often as practicable which will be darn near everywhere.

my favorite to carry is my kahr k-40, it is light weight, .40 cal my favorite, fits me great, has awesome sights, shoots very well for a shorter barreled gun, and has a nice trigger. It is thin and wears good on the hip, for all day carry. and most of all it is reliable, just wish I could shoot lead through it, but it is a ccw, and i like to shoot defensive loads through it when ever possible.

My new fav is my HK P2000SK. Fits very securely in the fith pocket of my 'weekend' (baggy) jeans. Still need to get around to searching out a holster for it.

The previous fave was my Kimber Ultra Carry II. Also fit securely in my fifth pocket but was a tad heavy. There's also a Beretta which I'll carry sometimes in the winter in a Uncle Mikes (stop laughing) holster.

My normal carry piece is my old Charter Arms 2-inch Undercover .38 Special loaded with 158grn. LSWCHP +Ps, usually Remington brand, in a UM Super Belt Slide with a Speed-Strip in the pocket.

The gun is pushing 24 years old but functions perfectly with many thousands of rounds through her, non +P for practice of course.

I bought her because she was half the price of a J-frame and I was living in Chicago at the time with my wife and a baby on the way. I needed something concealable to escort them through the more questionable areas of the city.

I've been ccwing my G34 in an OWB blackhawk cqc. it takes a long shirt to cover it but it works.

hopefully, my kimber ultra carry will come in. i plan on stuffing that in a tucker "the answer"

My Favorite is my S&W 13 3", but I almost always end up with my Custom S&W 942 9mm Centennial.

Others I like to carry are a 1911A1, G19 and my 4" pencil barrel S&W 65.
