Where ever the good LORD puts me.
I'm "building" an AR pistol which will take about a 8-10 months, so I've got time to plan and change my mind a dozen times. Anyways I'm leaning 5.56, (300 blackout is tempting exempt for the ammo cost.) and a 10.5-12.5" BMC complete upper.

So my question is which flash suppressor do you guys like best?

Thanks in advance.

Mine is the YHM-3302 ... keep in mind it's also a suppressor mount, but since I have the suppressor too it serves a dual purpose for me.

I like the AAC Blackout flash hider. It does a great job of hiding the flash and it also holds my SDN-6 silencer. I only notice the infamous "ping" sound when I'm racking the bolt or someone else is shooting it; I never actually notice the sound when I'm shooting.

Your question was about flash hiders and the only responses you've gotten are suppressor mounts ... I've seen several posts about the Noveske Flaming Pig, it's supposed to be the most effective one on the market for actually eliminating flash ... There are several blogs on the net as well as you-tubes ... I'm going to try one on my 10.5" AR pistol and will report back if you haven't already found your answer.

It's not sexy, but after bouncing around a bit through BCM and Battlecomp, I've settled on plain-jane A2 flash hiders on my 10.5" SBRs. After reading a few real-life comparisons, the A2 flash hider is hard to beat for a single all-around solution, and at $6, pretty hard to beat for value.
