Where to find SIG MPX-K and/or MPX-SD

Since SIG just recently announced their shipping the MPX out to distributors, will the MPX-K (the 4.5" barrel one with telescoping stock) and/or the MPX-SD (6.5" barrel with telescoping stock) - both would are SBR's - also be available for purchase?

If so, does anyone know where to find one?

One of my local LGS's here in College Station, Texas got one in this week. It was gone that day. I imagine it will probably be a while before we start seeing them sitting on shelves for any amount of time.

damn! well looks like i will have to really keep an eye out for one hitting gun shops in my area to get lucky on snagging one

i know i can get the regular MPX with the stabalizing brace, but i really do like the SBR ones and don't mind paying the tax stamp for it

If you know any of your LGS owners at any level I would give them your number and tell them to call you as soon as they get one in if you're ready to buy now

Find a local FFL/SOT that deals in NFA items like suppressors ans SBR's. Let them know what you want and I'm sure they will help you get one. The problem is most people are afraid of going through the NFA process so only a small percentage of gun owners get into NFA stuff. So, you are unlikely to find one unless you happen across a large store that does a ton of NFA transfers or one that has the money to allow them to sit on a rifle that may take awhile to sell.

^^^ I find this to be incorrect around my parts. Any gun shop I've been to, even the small mom and pop shops, have NFA items
