Where is a good place to get once fired 45 brass? It does not have to be cleaned or sized. Looking for the best price.

Going rate is about $50/k. As Lafitte suggested, the Googleverse has plenty of vendors selling brass. Also check the classifieds section here on THR. Remember 45 acp comes in small pistol primer pocket as well so don't get bent our of shape if you get some unless the seller states it is all large pistol primed.

I see brass on Amazon from time to time. Not sure if the price is good or bad though. I never paid it much attention.

There is a good seller on the for sale items here right now if you are looking for 45 acp.

Check all the vendors, you might find that Midway is the best source.

I needed 45 Colt brass and Midway had it at the best price.

Ive got brass for sale for $50 per 1000pcs. Plus shipping. Both large and small primer. I have done a great deal of brass sale here so i can be researched.

^^^I have purchased from him multiple times. He is great to deal with.:) There are several vendors in the reloading components for sale section in this forum. I have purchased brass from vendors on Gun Broker as well but you need to be a member there. If you use google there will be some research for you to get to the lowest price IMHO.

ETA the OP may not be able to access that sub forum yet due to his recent membership/post count.

I was just about to suggest you.

I decided awhile back (after decapping over 1000 .45acp cases) that it was worth it to me to pay an additional 1¢-2¢ per case to have them "cleaned", resized and deprimed.

I still properly clean and resize them, but that decapping exercise is a real chore and worth the extra $10-$20 per thousand.

I forgot all about you, sorry.

If given the choice to buy from a commercial vendor or a forum member the member wins out every time. No doubt...

I've been ordering from www.elitereloading.com. Their prices for 9 and 40 are okay, around $35 per 1000 for cleaned and polished. I just looked at rangebrass.us and their prices are really good for dirty brass. I prefer the dirty stuff and may have to order from there next time.

Midway had NEW 45 Colt brass, even if I could find used 45 Colt brass it would be very questionable brass. 45 Colt brass takes a real beating, some loads ate cowboy action, but then there is the brass that come's from the TC and Blackhawk loads--- beat to heck.

45 ACP brass is a horse of a different color, there is LOTS of it floating around from many vendors and it is once fired.

Sometimes buying new is the best way.

Again, that would not effect once fired brass. The OP specifically asked about once fired .45 ACP brass, not new or abused 45 Colt brass.
