Quick range summary for the MP 10. First with a quick cleaning. I figure since the designers obviously went light with this 18" barrel I would stick with the theme and put my lightest appropriate optics combo on there consisting of a 2-7X33 scope and aluminum rings. This also happens to be the only optics combo I have, so there is that. This optic combo is lighter than many scopes by themselves let alone the mount. So it is a light and straightforward package. Also put on a CTR stock. Lucky to find I had a black one sitting around. Tried two types of ammo. PMC 168 OTM Match went into a 1.4" three shot group at 100 yds. Not bad, until Federal Gold Medal Match 168 gr. went into a 1" group with two shots almost touching. This from an overweight crosseyed shooter with a 7 power scope. After final adjustments, shot some steel out to 250 yds. No misses. Just point and send it. This rifle is sweet. It piled up the brass in a neat little pile for me. Really could not be happier.
