I recently acquired a Glock 19 MOS and I plan to put a Holosun 407c on it. My question is which of the mounting plates to use that came with the firearm? There is a package included that has four mounting plates which are numbered 1 through 4.

Does anyone have any experience with this set up?

I run the Glock MOS plates including a #2 with a 507 and have experienced no issues.
I'm interested to hear how a $100 aftermarket plate could be "much better" than the well-working Glock MOS plates.

If I received a bend MOS plate I'd contact Glock customer service. I wouldn't spend a c-note to replace it.
MOS plates are under compression. A small cup in the plate wouldn't stop a plate from being flat.

Fair enough, that’s your opinion and what you’d do.

I gave my opinion about another option being superior in my view. I also didn’t spend $100 on it, I think mine was around $60.

But I have facts to back my opinions. You have no facts....

What fact?

Elaborating: my fact was my plate didn’t sit flat and I didn’t like it.

My fact is in response I bought a different plate that sits both flatter and lower.

My opinion is I like it better and feel it’s worth the cost.

Your fact is you don’t have access to my gun or plate and cannot know any of the variables as fact

Holosun SCS:
•No batteries
•No raised sights
•Direct mount
•No plate needed
•Serrations match Glock slide
