When I hold my Arsenal (saiga) SGL21-62 I feel like im holding perfection.

I didnt read through this whole thread, but Im suprised if no one mentioned an AK platform yet.

AK47

simple, efficient, effective, perfect :)

and by AK47 I mean that and including any clones/ copies

A few, for different reasons:

- Sig 226. Not sure if a finer mass produced high cap full size 9mm exists.
- Springfield EMP. Does a finer officer's frame 9mm exist?
- CZ-82. Probably the finest blowback pistol ever made.

I can think of several right off hand. Colt 1991-A1. Pretty much stock but if I pick it up and aim at something I have every confidence that I will hit it. Same for the Springfield 1911 my wife now has.

I have a single shot Remington 22 ( 512 or 514, can't remember ). It's simple, reliable, and accurate.

870 12 gauge. Put it to my shoulder and it feels like it is part of me.

I love my new Bersa uc 9mm. It's not high end as far as price but shoots very well. Balance with very little flip, accurate, good capacity, no ftf's so far. DA is smooth, but the pull is a little more than I like, sa is perfect. Couldn't be easier to break down. Tried smaller guns but there is always a penalty in recovery time for that caliber. I can afford to shoot it, that's good. Hear a lot of arguments about nine mm but if I can't afford to practice? I keep a beretta bobcat in my pocket with stingers. Cheap to shoot and have become very proficient with it. I hope what they say about shot placement counts. I can get off 7 rounds in 2 seconds easy and hit my target, without taking it out of my pocket, I just can't run that fast.

1. S&W 627PC
2. Winchester Model 52 22LR
3. Magnum Research BFR 7.5 inch 45/70 revolver
4. M1 Garand Special Grade

None

Everytime I think I got the perfect one.. I start to look at something else. Its a never ending story for me. :)
