Guys let’s get back to the point not talking about my lovely bride nor mentioning the house we are building the honeymoon or the fact that we are trying to have kids soon as in 2020
So about the guns

Another vote for the 1911. Later, would she even notice, if you refurbished the rifle?
So to say one last time I am “In charge of my Finances” We are open about the money we spend but for a couple of “Kids” just getting started we have to be smart about our spending so yes “We” agreed to me getting a new gun or fixing an old one
Howdy everybody so here is the situation
I am getting married in June my lovely bride has said I can get 1 gun this year so I have 2 options
Option 1) Dan Wesson Vbob 9mm duty treat yes I know they have been discontinued still want one
Roughly $1800
Option 2) Send my rem 721 in 30-06 off to Douglas to have it rebarreled to 6.5-06 then send it straight to fords for their master polish job yes I want a very pretty hunting rifle
Roughly $1500
For the pistol it is discontinued so they ain’t making any more so I’m leaning that way
The rifle will take time to get finished so what to do?
I think there's a third option here. You're not married yet, so a different girlfriend still remains a viable alternative, and then buy BOTH guns.More importantly...does she know how many you're starting with? if the answer is yes...you're at a major disadvantage for the rest of your marriage
