“I live back in the woods you see, my woman, the kids and the dogs and me” I’ve been shooting from my front porch, 22 handguns yesterday. My spanking new Mark IV Competition, a Mark Iii and a Rossi Plinker. I’ve got um all about where I want um. No lock down/out here. View attachment 910578
You're blessed. I have grass as far as I can see. With a few trees here and there.

I've been lucky that the outdoor range at the club I belong to hasn't closed so I still get to go whenever I want, which is usually once a week.

What I am looking forward to shooting is the new M&P Compact 45 I recently ordered. It might be a couple more weeks till I actually have it though. This will be my first 45 and I'm anxious to compare it to the 9 mm's I usually shoot.

I hope my new Winchester XPR .243 Win Thumbhole Varmint. My first centerfire rifle in 15 yrs.

For whatever reason, was reminded of my close #2 after my new Weatherby Vanguard. I was given this S&W 15-3 (the bottom one in the picture) by my uncle (mom's brother). He bought it as a gift for my maternal grandfather in the late 70s and when my grandfather passed away he got it back. With my interest in firearms (and his own sons' lack of interest) he wanted it to go to someone who would appreciate it. I still haven't shot it yet, honestly looks like my grandfather rarely if ever shot it himself.

It makes a nice little set with the other revolver pictured (Taurus 65). That one I got a couple years from another uncle (my dad's brother-in-law), who had gotten it from my paternal grandfather when his 2nd wife wanted him to get rid of it. My grandfather had carried it working armored car security after he retired from the smelting plant. That one, however, I HAVE shot. They're the only revolvers I own.

Private clubs are awesome... don’t know what I would do without mine...so nice to be able to go and shoot whenever I have the time.

My Gun Club is open, but we're not having club sponsored events for now. But the outdoor and indoor ranges are open. Yesterday Saturday the 25th April I took my M95 Dutch rifle out and fired fifty rounds (remade from .303 British) for final fire form. It is a most friendly and comfortable rifle to shoot.

Have a 50 yard range on my property. I haven't shot my 1906 Winchester 1892 in .25-20 so that's on the agenda. I don't reload for it yet, so at about $1.25 a round, I won't put a lot down range.
