Which handguns are you going to buy this year?

Hrmmm... In no particular order...

An SA 1911 Operator (getting this one hopefully next week :D )
A Sig P226
Beretta 9000S in 9mm
Some sort of Glock, probably a G17
Kadet .22 conversion kit for my CZ 75B
Desert Eagle (haven't decided between 50AE or 44mag yet)

That's all I'm sure about for now. I'm sure I'll think of others that I just gotta have as time and gunshop visits go by...

Also plan on adding a few longarms to the collection too.

Oh yeah, looking to get a 10mm handgun too. Suggestions?

The only one on my list at the moment is a 3" SP101 in .357 Mag. I used to own a 2 1/4" until about 2 years ago and accuracy was so-so. Had the opportunity to shoot a 3" last week and I was surprised at how well it shot. However, if CZ ever comes out with a compact in .40, that will be an immediate purchase. :)

1.) S&W 910s -- just approved in CA:D

2.) Smith or Ruger .357

3.) When my CZ 75b comes back from 2nd warranty repair attempt, I'll have it melted down into a hammer; if I ever feel the need to buy another CZ, I'll hit myself in the head...:banghead:

I have decided to give the 1911 one more try. This is the year.

Well, I'm still in rifle mode for the most part. I have several still on my list including a couple that might cost a chunk of change.

For handguns, I'd like to get one of the new KelTec 380s, a 625-2, a Encore, a 1911 in 9x23 and a really light weight 38 revolver.

Honestly, I'd rather get a bit of work done to my 38 Super Commander. Night sight out front, better trigger job and all the sharp edges taken away.

Well I have been waiting and waiting for the US Sphinx distributor to be announced. Since there's still no word on that, I went ahead and bought the following in January 2003:

Colt Mustang Lady Elite
SIG P220 9mm euro
SIG P220 .38 super euro
SIG P210-6
Colt Mustang Pocketlite SS

I think that's quite enough but I must that I am still looking for 2 more guns. Like many of the guns I buy, they are out of production and since I only buy guns in NIB/LNIB condition it may be awhile on those purchases.

I'm at an all time low as far as number of handguns but I couldn't be more pleased with what I've purchased so far.

Info wanted on kel tec p3 at>>>

I have visited kel tec site and can find no info on the new p3 at..Can any of you guys/gals let me know where there are specs and maybe a picture??

currently on layaway/order: Kahr MK40 (taking my CCW class on 2/2/03. this will be my carry gun when I can't get away with anything bigger)
Beretta U22 Neos. 6", blued. on order, as no-one has one in stock

WTB: the perfect 1911. no beavertail, no ambi safeties, spur hammer, nice bluing, no "improvements" other than a lowered ejection port and a feed ramp that will eat hollowpoints. not having an easy time finding what I'm looking for. Colt 1991A1 NRM seems like it would come pretty close, but I haven't seen one in the flesh yet. just the old rollmark models with the matte blue finish. did see a used MKIV series 70 that comes mighty close, though.

Well, I suppose it depends on the cash flow for the year, but I'd like to get another S&W 3913, and perhaps a 6906 or two. The 6906's are available for $230 right now from SOG, so I might have to blow my tax refund check on one of those and perhaps a Schmidt-Rubin...

We'll see, though.

Not too many handguns have piqued my interest lately, certainly a Valtro tops the list. Maybe another 44Mag like the Blackhawk Super Hunter. And a Marvel conversion for my 1911s.

In long guns, I have my eyes on a 45-70 Marlin next, and I'd like a tack driver 308.
