Which handguns are you going to buy this year?

Got a Hi-Power Practical coming in soon. Hope to pick up a DW PM Major in 9mm later. I might break down and grab a S&W 625 too, if my wife will let me have another wheelgun ;)
 
Probably a CZ-83 or a Makarov.
I would also like to have a mil-spec 1911 and I need a .22.
 
Not sure, I have some ideas but as always I'll probably end up with some surprises (this time last year I was right about the CZ 75 but I don't have the Kahr I expected to get within my next ono or two guns- I didn't expect the Bersa, CZ 40, S&W 586, or Colt Police Positive Special, and I thought I'd get a Taurus 85 instead of the 605). Also, I think this will be more of a long gun year.

Anyway, here are some I'm considering for the next year or two:

-if I can get some "pre-lock" guns (MD now requires built in locks for guns made after Jan 1) a SAA clone, a Kahr, a couple more CZs (maybe a 100, probably another 75/85 type, a 97), maybe a Springfield XD9 and possibly a Glock

-at least one more S&W K or L-framed .357mag revolver (I'd like a 4" 581, 4" 681, 4" 19, 3" 13, 4" 586 and/or 686, 2 1/2" 66 and 686+ and I'd consider others), hopefully I'll pick up one or two of these this year
-a S&W M10 and/or M15
-a S&W auto or two (CS 9, 3913, 39 or 908)
-SA Loaded 1911, though lately I've been thinking about a Mil-spec as I have a full featured 1911 (a Charles Daly) and the Mil-spec is much less money
-Taurus 85 (probably the aluminum UL model)
-Taurus PT911
-maybe a Taurus 82 or 83
-a .22lr pistol or revolver (undecided upon model)
-maybe a Taurus Tracker (2" .45acp, 4" or longer .357mag)
-Taurus 450
-Cimmaron SAA clone with lock if I didn't manage a "pre-lock" gun

This is the most current list. I'll probably only pick up three or four this year and leave the rest for next year because I'm trying to pay off some bills before summer (for graduate school) and I plan to make this primarily a long gun year anyway.
 
Well, I got my Makarov...

And thanks to the persistance of my wife who wants to take CCW courses as soon as possible, I picked up a Kahr K40 covert when I found a local well priced one. And she got a Beretta Tomcat.

So now, my list remains:

USP 9 Stainless
Taurus PT92 Stainless or Blue
Glock 26
a .357 and a .22 revolver
Marlin 336 Lever Action

And my wife:

Charles Daly Field Nickel Pump Shotgun
Walther P99

And just to let you know, I really like the Kahr!

I want a S&W 696 real bad. But to tell the truth I'm not sure why other than something new to punch paper with. Logically I keep telling myself that I've got a perfectly good carry gun already in .45 ACP that pretty much duplicates the .44 spec. ballistically and two .44 mags that can be pressed into service with specials for plinking. Still everytime I see a 696 I can feel the credit card twitching in my wallet. I'm getting weaker...I'll probably have one before the year is out.
 
I see a H&K P2000 in my future. (date unknown thanks to the BATF)
I'll probably end up buying my first 1911 of one type or another this year as well..

I do alot of impulse buying,so as to which handgun/handguns that I will purchase this year can not be known(not unless I was God)...:)
 
Definitely a beater 1911...

Been scouting a high cap Norinco NP-30 quite a while now...

A little more psychological prodding, and I just might plunk in the cash. :D:D:D
 
A beater .45, maybe a Rock Island. ??
Compact 92fs type
Airweight .38

But most of this years' wants are long guns. :D
 
Either a Browning Hi-Power Mark III, Colt 1991A1 or a Sig-Sauer P228. Then again I may not buy any and save up for a DSA FAL.
 
Hmmm...I spent a lot on them last year, including a couple projects.

I think I will work on more of the projects this year, like building a 9mm/.45 Commander.

Pistols I would jump on, if I got the chance, would be:

Another Delta Elite
A Colt SAA New Frontier, .44 Special, 5.5" barrel
A reasonably priced P7M8:neener:
Another XP100R, in something other than .22-250
A SRH in .480 Ruger
Smith 952, if reasonably priced(i.e., deeply discounted)

I actually think this year will be more of a rifle year for me - need a medium bore elk rifle, and a couple target rifles.
