Which Kimber?

I am looking for a new predator rifle. I had planned to get a Kimber 84 pro varmint in 22-250. However I learned yesterday after handling one in 223 yesterday that there isn't even one in my province, and since they are only shipped to canada once a year I will have to wait 5 months to get one. However I could buy one from a shop in the U.S. or try another store in canada. However I could get the 84m montana in 243 from my local shop. However I heard they are a hit/miss thing since the light barrel. So does anybody have experience with either of these rifles?
