admar2,
nice rifles.

does the cut handle mount solidly?

been thinkin' bout doing it.
I can get done free at work if I decide to.

back to the topic,

the 2 that get taken to the range almost always,

my 10/22 and NEF 223 Handi rifle.

however, I've recently been bitten by the 'bolt action' bug.
ask me this question again in a couple years and I may have a different answer.

In a single day?

Easy, any .22.

However I've fired off 120 or so from a 1903a3 in a single day.. that's a workout.

I must say that none of my guns have ever been shot. If they had, then it'd probably be damaged beyond repair... oh wait, what?

Oops.  ;)

The Marlin 60 probably has the AK beat, but only because I've had it longer.

Ouch! I hope you at least used a shooting jacket or something :uhoh: .

I've been shooting my VKT M39 Mosin Nagant every week for over a month now, because I found out that since I was neglecting it, my groups haven't been as consistant :( . I think I'll shoot it for this month's THR postal match, since I feel pretty good about the way I've been shooting lately.

However, I just bought a CZ452 Lux (get to pick it up on 4/10/04) and I plan on bringing that rifle with me to every range session, so it should soon take the title away from the M39 :D .

nipprdog,

the cut-down handle mounts very solid to the upper. haven't had any problems with it loosening up since I put it on.

I don't have that rifle, so perhaps the comparison isn't apt. But when I was having trouble zeroing the scope on my Russian M44 after the muzzle brake came loose, I went through six or more of the milsurp wrapped packages of 20 (the ones that come in the oversized Spam "Taliban" cans) I didn't notice much the rest of that day, but the next morning when I woke up, I felt as if someone had beaten the crap out of me. I was a walking bruise for much of the rest of the week.

any pics shuey?
Pics?? Me? I'm still living in the stone age (computer wise), so it's gonna' be awhile.. think months, not days. :uhoh:

This rifle looks just like the one that I own, except mine hasn't had >>

a) the barrel chopped in length like the one shown below. My barrel is still the stock 20-ish inches in length,

b) the barrel turned down (on a lathe) to G36 specs,

c) or a muzzle brake of any kind put on it yet..

Oh, and I'm running with the "G36K" forearm and not the standard '6-vent hole model' as shown in the pic..

It's a toss up between my Hi Point 9mm carbine and my Albanian SKS. Both just plain fun to shoot. ;)

I agree with AV1611, my first is the 10/22 followed by my Yugo SKS for fun..
now if I get those bricks of ammo across the water to here, I can shoot the SKS even more !!!!
:D
