which one the blued/wood or stainless/wood marlin model 60??

well I stopped in at Walmart and looked at the two marlin model 60's both wood one blued the other stainless and I really liked both and the blued/wood looked very classic in which I like but also the stainless was very nice as well! so guys which one?? as I decided to buy a marlin 60 22 rifle and so soon this is gonna be my next new toy thanks!

Half of each? My Marlin 60 is blue with a Marlin synthetic stock.

If I were to buy a new one it would be the stainless one BTW.

Stainless for me when possible as well. Don't have a single SS long gun in the inventory, though. And my squirrel stocked Glen 60 has blue missing in favor of rust, as it was stored in a golf bag by the original owner. But hey, I got it for free.

well been at Walmart several times and the stainless is only $40 more than the blued so I think I may go ahead with the stainless as it really is slick looking and as we know stainless is easier to take care of!

If the quality of wood is the same for both, I'd go blued. I think the classic lines of the Model 60 look really good in blued with a wood stock.

Buy both. If only one, I'd go stainless. Love the model 60 and its predecessor model 99.

Stainless whenever possible for any gun I plan to use and not just look at. But I make exceptions even there. 3C
