Hi !! I’m looking for buy a new scope but really I don’t want to spend more than 800€ , now I’m watching videos and information about meopta optika6 2.5-15x44 or delta titanium 2.5-15x50 but I don’t know what of them works better…
Do you know this scopes??
What other good option I have??

Joe Rhea speak very good of the optika 6in one video.

Thanks!!!

What are you going to do with it? Hunting, Target, Long range?

I've been looking for a 15x to put on a Competition AR Tactical Rifle. Looking mainly at Leupold in your price range but might have to look at those models too. I want a simple cross-hair reticle and exposed turrets. Going to get by with a Burris 4.5-14 until I find what I want.

I've got a few buddies with meopta's and they all love them.

I'm in the market for a similar scope, but as it's just for a back up, beater carbine and is probably gonna get spray painted I'm gonna go with something cheaper.

The Athalon 2-12x Helos is probably about as expensive as I'd want to put on it (costing more than the entire rest of the rifle)

I’m thinking in buy it for most part to hunting and few days target , now in my hmr 308 and maybe in the future 30-06 or 270win …
Actually in HmR have a bushnell elite 4.5-30x50 but it’s too heavy, and I don’t like too much, I’ll use the bushnell for my next tikka t1x .

Do you prefer scope with parallax correction for shoot to 300 yards max? Or not?why?

What exactly makes you consider magnification up to 15x?
Really I have doubts between 3-12x50 or 2.5-15 .
I thought in 2.5-15 because few times I go with friends to shoot targets and I suppose is better.

What do you think about this? What reccomend me?

It just depends on the type of hunting and/or target shooting you are looking to do. What animals are you hunting and at what distances (min. and max.)? What size and/or type of targets and at what distances? Without that information, it's impossible to provide a useful recommendation.

I hunt in Spain and different types of hunting, wild boars and deers the most common .

When We go to shoot targets, We use different targets, but the most part we use stickers like 1 or 2” of size, other times small balloons.
In either case the maximum distance 200/300m.

Trijicon accupoint and credo have a couple 2.5-12.5x range options with roughly those parameters.
Good Japanese scopes under 900USD on eurooptic.
I prefer less than 50mm objectives, but a 15x+ magnification on a 42mm scope will have diminished usability due to eyebox.
The 42mm accupoint is quite good if you can find any benefit in the unusual illumination tech. Capped turrets + no battery + SFP means light and skinny, which makes some difference if you're carrying it around.

IMO - it depends on the use. The chambering and rifle type plays into the choice also.

For close work like in brush with fast game I prefer a 1-4x with 30mm tube.

For still hunting a 3-9 or 4-12 w/o paralex adjustment. 44mm or larger objective for better light gathering. Clean fine line duplex retical w/ regular covered turrets.

For 100-300 targeting a 6.5-20x w/ ajustable objective of 50mm and a 30mm tube. MOA retical w/ indexing exposed turrets are a nice feature.

The 36x fixed target scopes are nice if shooting past 300 but they somewhat limit the rifles use to targeting.

For your deer and boar hunting use, 10x is plenty of magnification, and you could probably even get by with 7x. However, for shooting 1" targets at 300m, I'm not sure 15x is even enough (perhaps it is but I don't really do that type of shooting so I'll stay in my lane.) Not to mention 1-2" groups at that distance takes an extremely accurate rifle and ammo combination, so I'm not sure that's realistic. Maybe something in the 3-18x or 4-24x may suit you better. You just have to understand that buying an optic to serve two very different roles may not shine at either.

I cant comment on the specific scopes listed. I have a meopro htr 6.5-20x50 on my primary hunting rifle, but when choosing between an optika5 and an Athlon Midas HMR, i went with the HMR on a recommendation.

Those Japanese built Delta Titanium's are well spoken of, i might have to try one of the non-HD AO models.

Functionally i feal the 2-15ish power range is an ideal crossover power range. I like 15+ for targets, tho once we start getting out past 500+/- i begin to want more power, IF the conditions and scopes optical quality allow for it.

I just recently got a Tract Optics scope and I am very impressed with the quality of it. I got the 4-25 power so I cant speak to there lower power scopes but maybe check them out also.I believe they have a 2.5-15 and also a 3-15.
