Looking for experiences with an HK45CT. The cost and lead time of a good suppressor makes experimenting out of the question.

Thanks

I think the Octane 45 is the most versatile can available for your intended purpose. It accepts all Osprey pistons as well as the 3-Lug adapter that is used on the Octane 9. It's user-serviceable with heat-treated stainless baffles. Since you're gonna be married to the suppressor, might as well get something that you can maintain over the years.

I don't own one, but I have the Octane 9 HD2 and I don't regret it one bit. I use it on my MP5, my Glock 19, SIG 239 and Browning Buckmark. That's a lot of flexibility for one can.

Hate to tell you but if I were selling those cans, I would not reference that video. It is NOT a sales booster.

I haven't put it on an HK45CT but I'm quite happy with the performance of my Osprey. As it's not user serviceable one would need to stay away from lead bullets but i'm pretty sure such are a no-no in HK45 barrels anyways.

I have a full size Tirant and on a USPc it's a little long for my liking. I don't shoot my compact suppressed very much for that reason. The thing I don't like about the KAC cans is how heavy they are. If you want performance get the Tirant/Osprey.

If you want a compact can, get the Tirant S. Here are some other things to consider... I hardly ever shoot my can wet because the water mixed with carbon comes out of the breech and gets your hands all dirty. You can also feel a little on your face as well.

Tirant/Osprey - I like the Tirant because you can clean it.

Based on other reports, I have been leaning in the Tirant direction. Have not seen th 'S'. May have to check that one out. Thanks.

I've been happy with the Osprey Sights still useable without changing to a taller sight. I am using it on several guns. I have read really good things on the Tirant also.

Well, I haven't gotten to try it out yet, but I recently made a similar decision as OP, and I went with an Osprey 45. Mostly because of the form factor and the fact that I won't have to change out the sights on all my guns.

My primary host will be my USP 45, but it should work on just about all my handguns if I can find threaded barrels for 'em. Looking forward to trying it on my Berettas, Kimber and Sigs as well. :D

My dealer said the Tirant was good. Also that the Osprey was good. He's really liking the Octane. He has all three in stock and said he makes no more on one than the other so he's not pushing any of them.

Went with the Tirant. Now comes the waiting.

Also picked out the AAC 762 SDN-6 for my AR platforms and the Warlock II for rimfires.

e-Formed all of them so hopefully I will be shooting suppressed before summer's over.

Octane 45 HD on my USP Tactical and my MP5 clone
I also have mounts for my SiG-45 TACOPS and a 1/2x28 for my pistol caliber uppers for my AR ... I love it more than I thought I would when I ordered it!
