White lithium grease on 1911 barrel/bushing

I use lubri-plate on mine. It doesn't dry out and stays on the slide and bushing. Seems to work really well for guns.

Grease on "bearing surfaces" oil other places, mainly for rust.

Just the way I am wired.

If it is good enough for a Garand it will work everywhere else. Same goes for the A5.

Lucas grease in the summer Lucas gun oil in the "winter" in Phoenix for me. Spring and fall get a mixture. My ed brown loves it.

I use grease and CLP on my guns, but it certainly will not tighten up loose barrel to bushing fit. A fitted bushing will though

Also a fan of grease in things that slide (slides, sears, etc.) and oil on everything else. I too use Lubriplate and Slip2000 products.
