Who here regularly carries a LARGE handgun?

I pretty much carry a Taurus PT1911 OWB , I mostly carry openly around Olympia and Shelton area thanks to people like Lonnie and Mainsail . If I feel like downsizing I go with a M&P40 or my S&W 3913 .

My EDC changes on the weather. When it gets really warm, I go to my mouse gun, a 3" SP - 101 in .357 Mag carried in a super tuck.

During normal weather I carry a 4" 686+ in a Murage holster (I have found I needed to change the position of the carry loops on the Murage to the outside edge of the holster in order to keep the gun from fliping out of my pants.)

During the colder months, when I'm usually wearing a sweater and coat, I carry a 4" 625 (.45 ACP revolver) in a murage holster.

It all works good for me.

Well, a couple of weeks ago, after being unable to comfortably carry the 4" redhawk, I set myself up with a new rig. This has been working out very well for me.

It's a 629 carry comp, loaded with 44 specials.

Nice holster for that 92, Im looking to invest in something similar so I can ditch the shoulder rig.

I actually forget I am carrying it sometimes - ya get so used to it. I love the holster :)

Wow, you are nuts. That Mauser would be a b---- to conceal. Also, what's your theory with the Buckmark?

I might posit that "nuts" is worrying about what someone thinks about you carrying something which is 100% legal, conducive to one's well-being, and completely invisible and undetectable to begin with.

I carry my HK USP 45 Tactical but with a non tactical barrel.
Not difficult for me.

Same here, although mine has the threaded barrel, with a thread protector over it.

I use a Blade-Tech OWB holster that accomodates the underbarrel UTL. I really like it, since I use the USP as my nightstand gun, and keep the light on it. Not hard for me to conceal with just a jacket or a loose button shirt as a concealing garment.

I regularly carry a Sig P226 in a Crossbreed Supertuck. Even with shorts and a t-shirt, I've never had a problem concealing it (unless the t-shirt is too tight). Really, a good belt makes just about anything carryable.

My regular carry in the fall/winter is my Ruger Alaskan in .44M in a Simply Rugged.
