I've got an old Grendel P12. I don't carry it much anymore. It's still reliable, just I have better guns. The thing has a crappy DA trigger, sorta starts out stiff and becomes lighter, hella hard to control, but it holds 12 rounds and in length and height, is the same size as my buddy's LCP. It's almost an inch wide, but still only weighs 12 ounces. It's kind of a neat gun, ahead of its time. Has plastic magazines I never thought looked very sturdy, but they're both still workin'. That gun is 20 years old or so, so I guess I can say the magazines held up. I do like the heal clip mag release for a pocket carry much better than a conventional 1911 style release.

Saw recently a 50-round drum magazine for the Bersa Thunder... that along the lines of what you're looking for..?

I have the P10 version, with the non-removeable magazine.. got it around 1988 or so. It's pretty much otherwise the same gun, though it hold two fewer rounds.

Davidson's has them in the $380-ish range, depending on what FFL you have it sent to. They also have the nickel version for a little more. I like my single stack nickel, wish it had been the double stack, but it was a gift, and the double hadn't come out yet.

I saw several used CZ-83 in .380 at the Indianapolis 1500 show this weekend. They were all around $249. There must have been a slew imported or something.

Post 14 said walther made a hi cap 380 what model is it
Dunno, only current production Walther .380's are the 8 round PPK and the 9 round PK380.

There aren't really many options. The .380 market is mostly pocket pistols. If you get a gun big enough to be a double stack, most people are going to go 9x19.

I was just going through the CDNN catalog, and they have a Taurus PT138 Millennium Pro blued for $279, or with stainless slide for $299. They also have used Beretta 84's for $369.

IMHO, the best, highest quality double stack .380 is the Beretta 84, but if I were shopping for one, I'd be tempted to try a Bersa Thunder Plus.

Sorry guys I thought that the new Walther was a high cap. I have the Berreta 84 and a PPKS and a Feg SMC which are not a high caps. I thought that I read somewhere that the new Walther was a high cap.(wrong). Again sorry.
