Check out Altamont. I got me a set of Bateleur checkered grips fer my 640, and they are the bee’s knees to look at.

Of course, EJECTING rounds are sometimes a combination of cylinder placement/frame position… and luck! (Without a little judicious sanding, which I’m loathe to do. It’s a hiking/range gun for me.)

I really like my Altamonts but went back to stock rubber due to the pretty wood is not “tacky” enough

while we are on the subject of grips, i have these target grips that came with an old, pre-transfer bar safety, ruger bearcat that i had modified. i wish to find another set as small 22lr handguns seem to breed prodigiously in my home…
