Why did I have to sleep?

I went to bed and put my phone on DnD and about an hour later, a friend called me to ask if I wanted first crack at his nearly new Italian made Beretta 92FS Inox with a half dozen 15 round mags, a couple of the big 32(?) round ones, the case, paperwork, etc. Not a scratch on it. He needed money in a hurry and it went to the next person on his list, who wasn't asleep at 1130am. I would have given him $500 at least for it in a hearbeat. One of the disadvantages of sleeping in the daytime. But it sometimes works the other way too.

Oh, man. You are right, that was a deal I would've done in a heartbeat too.

Go cut yourself a 4" section off a 2x4, and hold it, to see what your missing... Worst grip of any pistol I have owned, you did well:)

If you've got big meaty paws like me, the 2x4 grip fits just fine. Heck, I like my FNX-45 which is even closer to being a 2x4.

Yikes! 500 for an Italian production INOX? With at least four mags? I'm sorry, bro. That's gotta hurt a little. (I don't miss working graveyard, that's for sure)

Some of us have manly man hands. The 92FS/M9 fits my hands perfectly, points naturally and the Beretta is typically a very accurate pistol out of the box with excellent reliability.

Nothing to do about hand size, the grip just feels bad to me. Mine also had dead night sights on it, and the front wasn't replaceable. Beretta CS told me to paint it with glow paint... LOL!

Your hand must be totally different from mine, as the Beretta 92FS grip is one of my all time favorites.

I'm the opposite, I decided a long long time ago, that if I kept working on days I would be dead, either from falling asleep while driving, or from one of the endless illnesses I had from 5 years of age until I was out of high school and could sleep in the daytime, as I was meant to from day one. Now I'm a messed up old man who has terrible back issues and knee stuff going on, but almost never get a cold or flu, etc. If I do, it's a 2 day deal most of the time. I don't know how you day timers do it. I asked my dad when I was about 4, "Why do people sleep at night?". He said something like, "That's when you're supposed to sleep!". I disagreed, very strongly. My natural bedtime is about 4-5am. When the sun comes out, I'm gone.
