Why Don't more People Go To Gun School?

To the contrary, those advocating for training in this thread have been called "elitist" and "gun snobs" something along the lines of "young know-it-alls"and my personal favorite (because it is so ironic) "incompetent." Yep, if you get a lot of training it is because you are incompetent. So who is calling who names and why? Why is this personal to anyone?

That is a good question.

OK, somewhere along the line I'm sure somebody has touched upon the question of "what is the minimal training one should have", but I'm not up to reviewing the previous 175 comments for it.

HOWEVER, another question comes to mind that I'm sure nobody has yet brought up with respect to this training:

"At what point does one reach the point of diminishing returns in training?"

It is intuitively obvious to most, I believe, that there is ALWAYS something to learn and ALWAYS room for improvement. But if one actively pursues that ad infinitum, then there will never be enough gun courses taken; an impossible, and impractical at any rate, objective.
