Why Even Have An "Activism" Sub-forum...

An Activism post is supposed to present a clear plan of action in support of RKBA that other members can follow to amplify our voices. It can be something the OP has already done or something that they've thought through and think they have a clear path forward. Folks responding to the OP should work on making constructive contributions to improve upon the OP's plan so the we end up with a better tool to use in protecting our 2A right.

If the OP doesn't have a clear plan, but has an idea and wants to get help developing an effective plan the Activism Discussion sub to this forum is the place to go.

Both Activism and Activism Discussion are virtual workshops where we develop and hone the plans needed to amplify our voice in defense of the RKBA. They're not for hand wringing, chest beating or random discussion where talk, talk, talk is all that ever takes place and where the effort needed to get things done is wasted on whining.

The threads we lock and leave are intended to serve as examples of what not to do. "FYI" threads, illegal or impossible ideas, completely off topic posts sometimes get left for a while so folks can see that they're not on topic for Activism. A few rare others, that have value to Legal or GGD, may get moved if they're very well done or important. The majority just get deleted because they don't have any value even as a bad example.

BTW, Why would you expect an off topic thread to be locked?
