read up on literature, most soft points in a .243 are going to fast to stay intact inside the first 100 yards of bullet travel. especially 100 grain core lokt. either type of core lokt.
ive used the hornady gmx. that makes a really nice hole, entrance and exit, but doesnt create the messy-ness inside that a core lokt does.
