And that beats Garrett Hammerhead .45-70, Buffalo Bore, and my own 2000fps Ruger #1 loads how?

It probably doesn't. But your 45/70 probably won't stand up to a 458 Lott, 50BMG, 700 Nitro Express, or a 20mm cannon either. What's your point?

I know this is a thread from Feb 14 guys, but it is from 2005. I doubt the group buy is still happening, if it ever was. If you want one, give WWG a call.

Ken doesn't hang out here anymore. He actively posts at the Firing Line if you want to go ask over there, but he might be slow to respond for the next couple weeks. His father passed away on Wednesday.

Here is a pic of my .457 Wild West with a Kevlar stock, hard chromed and ported. I had it shortened to 16 1/2" to pack while fly fishing. They are sweet! Wyatt

thread resurrection at its finest!

there are a LOT of people with this on order. what i know is that they are very close to having a rifle built, i forget which caliber they were focusing on, think it might be the 454 casull. and other calibers will follow. unsure if they are going to attempt the .460s&w, if so, some modifications would have to be done to the design.

the other thing i know for sure is that they have ordered and/or manufactured enough internal parts for this first batch. i logged them into the computer all by myself! got a gold star for it too.
