There is no need for insults & sarcasm in this thread.
And assumptions that any poster who expresses doubts about Trump MUST BE a Hillary fan are ludicrously off-base.
Every bit as much so as those fans of hers who state unequivocally that anybody who voted for Trump MUST BE a racist misogynist.
Those of us who point out that Trump has no history of gun support, that no automatic assumption of a Brave New World is warranted based on the fact that he may own a gun & made campaign noises more favorable to gun owners than Hillary did, and that expectations should be based more on a Show Me than a Tell Me, are not ipso facto Hillary people.
This IS not, and CANNOT be as simple an issue as "You either gotta be 100% for Trump or you're 100% for Hillary!"
Some of us (who voted for Trump) merely say that many expectations are unfounded, ridiculously high, and not supported by anything in the man's past.
It should be possible to assert this without drawing insults & the types of juvenile behavior that Hillary's camp followers displayed immediately after the election.
This forum should (and does) promote at least relatively polite discourse, even among those who disagree with each other.
Some of us are simply saying that hopes for a champion in Trump as "one of us" are unrealistic based on his life to date, and while he (AGAIN) was a better choice than his opponent, he has yet to have sufficient time or opportunity to live up to campaign promises traded for votes.
We don't know, we won't know, and we can't know, until the guy ascends the throne.
When he does, we'll find out one way or the other.
If you're thinking he'll overnight dispense with ATF, revoke 1934, hand out suppressors like Obama did cell phones, and put a gun in every pot (paraphrasing Herbert Hoover), you're in for severe disappointment.
Regardless of whether Trump carries a gun or not.
Wait and see!
Senseless bickering & bashing between us here & now is just that. Senseless.
