I'll pick out another Ruger soon. Best way to pay my respects.

I'll dry-fire the 1975-ish vintage Police Service Six, once carried by my dad as a deputy, that's sitting by my bed when I get home tonight...

I own several other Rugers, the longest-owned being a 10/22 from 1986, and a Mk-II Standard from 1987. Also carried a department-issued P85 back in the day. I've got quite a bit of respect for the product line.

If you ask me, it looks like he really he did a bang up job. I wonder how mad his pop would have gotten at the way he ran the company.

It's too bad they couldn't find a better picture. RIP Bill Jr.

William Jr was not considered an asset to the company & was eventually leveraged out.

While I am sorry he died, I have not been a fan of Ruger since his dad came out about 10 round max mags, etc., etc., etc.

Me neither. And Jr. supported his dad's mag limit policies too, which is probably why the company ousted him in 2006.
