I have the Model 290 with the fancy Monte Carlo stock (B1066xxx). It's marked .22 L or LR. I
The 190 never haIt sure about the 190 but some 22’s were made with a floating chamber so you could shoot 22 shorts and long rifle. Not sure how it worked
Last time I checked CCI still "loaded" them. I guess they make it once every 5 years or so. Probably the most useless ctg. ever made.Nope haven’t seen longs in years either, only long rifle and shorts.
Those of you with 190s marked for anything other than LR and who have fired "lesser" ammo in them, do the guns cycle normally? Or do they simply become bolt-actions with anything less than .22LR?
