I had one,and will never have another. Not only is the trigger every bit as bad as described by Morsey, but the barrel would not stay tight on the action.I loc tighted the barrel nut ,and it helped but it did not solve the problem. The only good quality of it was it held 18,or so shells if I remember right..If the forearm has slop, then the barrel is loose. The correct method to tighten it is to pull the tube, which holds the forearm on,but you can get to it by removing the rear sight, because the nut is right under that sheet metal shroud under it..I would rather have one marlin 60 than two 190s or its kin..And considering that a new 60 is around $150,or so that places little value on a used 190
