Winchester 61 or 9422?

I have both a 61 and an early 9422- both are extremely fun to shoot.... But, if you want to shoot fast and furious.....hold that trigger down on that 61 and pump it as fast as you can!
- both have taken a pile of squirrels -
......you can't go wrong with either- fun fun fun-

I own neither the 62 or 9422, but I do have a Rossi 62A pump and levers from Henry (3), a Marlin 39A Golden Mountie and a Browning BL-22 Micro Midas. I really like both action types.

So…

If the price isn’t a mortgage payment, I would go with the 9422. If it is, then the 62. I would stress out to have a huge sum wrapped up in a rimfire that is supposed to be a fun plinker and a squirrel/bunny getter.

My 94/22M had head space issues, often failed to fire.
Otherwise a top notch carbine.

If you can, buy both; if not, I'd pick the 61. I have one, and I can't help but smile when I'm shooting it. It's an extremely fun little rifle, good to hunt with too.
