has anybody had any problems with wolf steel cased ammo because i went out and shot my new at-84s and after the third round the case got stuck in the chamber and i had to take it apart to get it out, it that normal and it works fine with any brass cases, it did the same thing with my smith&wesson 9mm too whats the problem with wolf

what's the problem with Wolf

Wolf is low priced ammo, and you get what you pay for. I refuse to shoot Wolf steel cased ammo because I have had many ruptured cases in 45ACP. In 9mm I have had primers fall out or pushed out. It is dirty and smelly.

So, I don't shoot it.

I have heard good things about thier brass cased stuff, so I will give that a try, but steel cased, no way (unless I get an AK)

I've shot about 2 boxes of wolf in both 9mm and .45. The 9mm was in a Taurus PT92 and the .45 in a Ruger P345. Had no problems in either gun. I stopped buying the Wolf steel cased because I started reloading.

Not all ammo works in all guns and vice-versa.

I've shot lots of Wolf ammo in a variety of calibers and have found the 9mm to perhaps have problems with the highest number of my guns. Clean and dry chamber helps a lot, but frankly Wolf is no longer cheap enough compared to the alternatives to bother with.

An AT-84S? Who makes that? Could that be the problem, perhaps? ;)

I haven't shot any for some time (as Wally said, it is not cheaper enough to be worthwhile), but I never had any problems with 9mm in SIG or Glock pistols. I did get failures to fire (light primer strikes) in a .45 caliber Glock 30.

If whatever this gun is;) functions with brass-cased ammo, simply use that and forget the Wolf.

Many people say it is crazy to reload 9mm and maybe it is BUT you can load better performing ammo for less money than wally world winchesters at $15 per 100. If you are like most of us youwon't save money but you will get to shoot more so screw the steel cased canine crap!!!!!

I'd certainly have said that two years ago when a case of Wolf 9mm was ~$90 but now Winchester USA is about $140/1000, 9mm components to reload 1000 empties you pickup off the ground for free will set you back about $80/1000 for FMJ, or about $60/1000 if you load hard cast lead bullets. With a basic progressive press you are looking at about 4 hours of effort to load a case of 1000 rounds (counting every thing, sorting out the .380, Mak, & .38 Super you'll pick up a few of, cleaning the brass, stuffing the primer tubes, re-filling the powder measure, and actually realoading the ammo.

It all depends on if you have more free time or money. And how much you shoot will determine how log it takes to pay for press, dies and other equipment.

I agree. I have a boatload of 7.62x39 WOLF for my AK, but I would never buy it in any other caliber for any other gun. My AK seems to love the stuff. Hasn't given me a problem yet.
