Hey ya'll,

I was at the local ACE hardware/gun shop and was just looking around and found Wolf Ammo in 12 Guage 00 buck. The price was right $2 for a box of 5.

Are these any good?

Anyone with experience with the Wolf shotshells?

Wolf shotshells are made in Spain and not too shabby.
If you can find them, the Italian made Nobel Sport shotshells are much better and not a whole lot more expensive if you are buying by the 10 box 'flat'.

I use Wolf and Sellier & Bellot buckshot and slugs for range practice.

I prefer Remington for Serious Social Intercourseâ„¢ but if all I had was Wolf or S&B I wouldn't feel disadvantaged.

Of course every shotgun has it's preferences and yours may not like the bargain brands as much as mine does. But at the price you can afford to experiment.

In general, what works best in one shotgun may not in another, even in identical weapons with consecutive serial numbers. It's one reason Shotgunning is not an exact science.

Buying some and patterning it in YOUR shotgun will tell how it works. All buck works up close, the trick is finding a brand that does the job out around the 25 yard line.
