Looks like DW finally has the DWX ready for production, just in time for Shot Show.

As far as ship dates, I hope it’s soon!

Just saw a YouTuber with one. Sorry, don’t know how to post that.

Supposedly Clay Shooters Supply had them in stock at $2099. I just checked and they are sold out.

I don’t see a new YouTube video. No where is n stock. Believe it when I see one n person.

No optic cut, jeeze. Looks like my Orange and Staccatos are safe.

Yeah, they are missing the boat by not offering optic ready.

But then, that me be the plan for increased sales down the road.

Supposedly an optic ready model will be released in second quarter 2023.

One thing I didn't know is that the DWX is a modular design. The fcu is serialized. Kinda cool but highly doubt different grip modules would ever be produced.

I'll be buying the first optic ready DWX I can find next year. They'll have all the kinks (if there is any) worked out by then as well.

I am not quite sure why this is appealing. I like classic CZ-75s and I like classic 1911s, but separately.

For me this is very appealing, not much of a fan of the 1911, 7-8 rounds in a handgun that size doesn't appeal to me.

But combining the CZ75 features and a 1911 trigger with a 15-19 round capacity in 40s&w or 9mm respectively, and that's something.

I can see myself with a Dan Wesson DWX in 9mm and 10mm (if they so choose to chamber it in 10mm).

Huh

The ergos of a CZ 75 with the best pistol trigger ever designed while holding 19rds.
Am surprised it's taken 100 plus years for someone to manufacture a pistol with a 1911 trigger that isn't a 1911.

This thing has my 2011 purchase on the back burner.

You’re probably right :D

Absolutely would have one if they’d come out when they said they would, just got tired of waiting.

Well your X9 I'm sure is a sweet shooter, it has a lot going for it.

Huh is right...

I have no complaints about the cocked & locked SA trigger on my CZ-85B. In fact, it's safety works pretty much like a 1911 safety.

I guess different strokes for different folks.
