Loading 95 gr. Magtech plated 380 bullets. Using 3.3 grs. of Universal and a aol of 0.980 . At 15 ft. these rounds are all over an 8 inch pie plate. Not accurate at all. My manual also list HP-38 for these bullets . Going to load some with 3.1 grs of Hp38 . I increased my oal with my 40 cal and they were much more accurate . Should I also increase th oal on the 380's ?

Since you already have HP-38, get some Bayou 105 grain coated bullets. Then use 2.8 of the HP38 at .966 oal. You'll be happy you did.

W-231/HP-38 does well in 380acp and very well in 9x18 Mak.
I would use brass that is as similar as possible.

OP, I think that you are probably close to the max limits on OAL already. If you go too long they may not fit the magazine.
My Sig 238 works well with 2.9 of Win231 (HP38), and 2.8 grs of Promo (Red Dot). I can get ~1.5" groups, 5 shots, 7 Yards (21 ft) off-hand.

Didn't realize Art had linked to it above...

I loaded some too out to far, I had three dummy rounds that passed the plunk test and manually cycled in the gun. When the magazine was full of live rounds to be test fired the angle of the rounds changed in the mag. and they would not feed.
