Back in 1992, one of my firearms instructors (who is an LAPD SWAT instructor) lectured the class for two hours, and THEN showed us that he had 14 (yes fourteen) separate firearms while wearing: A long sleeve shirt, Banana Republic photovest, blue jeans, and Danner boots. Of course it was to make a point, not a normal mode- and he did not sit down. This fellow is a tall, lean individual.
I don't recall the exact combination of firearms, but he had at least two 5"1911's in belt rigs, two commander-size pistols in an SOB NY reload rig, several Walthers including a TPH and two PPK's in high-mount shoulder rigs, a few pocket derringers including one built into a belt buckle (!), a J-frame, and I seem to recall an ASP 9MM and an HK PSP somewhere along the way.
More than 25 pounds of armament, none of which were obvious to a class of prospective sheepdogs.
With the exception of the J-frame these are notably flat pieces which makes a big difference.
