At my local gun shop there are a lot of guns on consignment for way too high prices. Even though they have been sitting there for months, the sellers won't face reality and lower the price. I think people become fixated on what they paid for the gun originally or how much money they need from the sale to buy their next gun. But those factors are irrelevant to the guns value now.
