Would you Colt 1917?

I would probably drop the change on that if it locked up tight and was in time. I AM a bit leary of buying an old Colt off Gunbroker, but less so in person to check it out. What I REALLY want is the 1909 in 45 colt. In great shape.

I don’t buy guns online

I don't as well. By the time you tack on the transfer fee I can buy them locally for little more. I think it is worth it to keep the local guys in business so can go in, tell lies with the other geezers, and sometimes drool on a showcase.
It’s fun to go in the Gun Shop and hang out for a few minutes.

They had a consignment Rolling Block Remington (Modern) that I was Eye Balling for a month. Old fella and his buddy comes in and says “I’m a historian and would like to see that Rolling Block”, 20 seconds later. “I’ll take it” my heart drop. Can’t get that feeling online

Bet there will be a whole generation of Gun Buyers who never been in a gun shop. I seen transfer only business popping up lately
