Calling Michael Moore a documentarian is an insult to real documentarians.

He is a satirist/propagandist, and anyone who takes his work seriously should have their head checked.

If nothing else at least he gets you to think about a subject. That is all.

I'd do it, but you do need to know what you're going to say beforehand to any question and make sure it is short and said in a way that it cannot be edited down. It does require some very careful planning and execution, but it's no different than any other type of interview really.
