I have a old German .22 that is now a family heirloom. My Grandfather had found it in france during his service. It is a fluss stahl krupp essen modell 317 K bolt action. It appears to be a target rifle. I do not know much about it. I' ve looked online but I have not found much. If anyone knows a link to good info or knows any info themselves it would be nice. I will post some pics soon.
Thanks for your help Can anyone tell me about the sighting mechanism? if you look at the two different models on the link Art provided the one on top has the same sight at the end of the barrel as the one I have. Is there a difference? Look also at the markings on the stock below the sight. I was told that it could possble that these were marks to indicate wins in competition or some achievement. What do you think?
