I already have one G22 but it I bought it without a barrel or magazine and it's got a 9mm conversion barrel and 9mm magazine in it now.

I love Glocks but prefer new over used. Especially if there is no way to tell how many rounds have been fired in it.

I really like Glocks but I don't care for .40. I would probably get the Smith, its a good gun in a good caliber, and you already have a Glock in a good caliber. You can get a 22 barrel and the right mags later if you want to shoot .40.

I like the ergonomics of the Glock platform more than the M&P line. Both calibers are not cheap so that would be a toss up.

If the Glock fits you well I'd go that route. Most LEO trade ins haven't been shot much.

If you don't mind shooting .40, like someone else said those LEO 22 trade ins are one of the best values out there right now.

I got one of the trade-in G22's and have been very pleased with it. My FiL got his first, and after I shot his I knew I'd be getting one of my own.
