XDM 4.5 Trade Value?

Hey guys I've only ever traded one gun in my life at a store so I want to get a good deal but I'm not sure what to expect difference wise after trade value. I'm thinking of trading off my LNIB Springfield XDM 4.5" handgun in .40S&W for an identical gun chambered in 9mm. The gun still has the box/paperwork and accessories that came with it (two mags/holster/mag loader).


What kind of money should I expect to pay out of pocket on the trade?

You could get a .357 Sig barrel as well.

I bought a 9MM conversion barrel for my old XD, but my nephew has that combo now.

I've done much better selling guns using Armslist. Keep in mind that the LGS you're trading with needs to make a profit as well.

Prepare to be sorely disappointed if you trade your XDm at a gun shop. Understandably they have to make a profit to keep the doors open.

All it takes is some patience and sell it straight out and then make your purchase. You'll be glad you did.
