First gun bought with my own money, probably 1980 (Crosman pellet rifle).

First .22 bought in 1987 (Marlin model 60))

First centerfire in 1991 (Winchester 94 in .30-30)

1958 - I was 11 years old. I saved my allowance and odd job money and bought a Winchester single shot .22. The amazing thing about this is that I purchased the gun and ammunition in a hardware store in California of all places. Nobody blinked an eye. Times have definitely not changed for the better.
