Used the Search function, and came up with about 15,000 different threads that in one way or another did not answer my question.

Where is your honey hole spot for getting reloading components in this current SHORTAGE?

I have bought over 15,000 bullets from them, and used to buy from them before eBay went communist on us all.

I have been getting 1000 .40 S&W Plated bullets for right around the $100 mark.

I have had absolutely 100% satisfactory service, and always some extra bullets in every lot. (I'm the anal retentive dude that counts his 1000 bullets to make sure I dont get ripped off) :)

Please share where you get components, and who you trust to get them at a good price and availabilty.

I've used bullets from them. Seemed pretty good.

Precision Delta is cheaper for the 9mm bullets. Unfortunately they are hopelessly swamped. Like 7 weeks behind. Placed an order 4 weeks ago. Called today, and they said it'd be another 2-3 weeks "maybe".
 
I've bought thousands from Conevera too but he doesn't have very much selection now days. I guess that goes for most others too.
I basically shoot a lot more lead now because it's less expensive and readily available.
 
Lately I've been using Montana Gold for plated and just ordered a bunch from Missouri Bullet Company (their giving a 5% discount to THR members)

I've been pleased with both and packaging was very good, no loose bullets

Precision Bullets is located in my home state. They make a good product and I wish them well. I promote them here so they can get more money, make money, and be happy.

And FYI, their 9mm is already backed up 4 weeks. :)
 
In the past eight weeks, I've ordered and received two different orders for 230gr .45 ACP FMJ's. Precision Delta took about six weeks from the day the order was placed, and Roze sent them in a little over four weeks. Both orders were for 2,000 bullets.

As for becoming back ordered, if a company is selling a quality product, at a fair price, I HOPE they grow. Being backordered is a good spot to be in when growing business... I think it is far better than "In Stock.... but ain't sellin none"

I also cast my own, but before I did, I bought all of mine from Missouri Bullet. They offer a THR discount and have fantastic products and service. I've been handloading for over 15 years, and while it took me a while to figure it out, I eventually learned that there is almost no reason to spend the extra money on jacketed or plated bullets unless one is shooting a gun that specifically needs jacketed to operate safely. I load jacketed bullets in .223 and in 9mm for my P7, everything else (even rifles) get cast bullets (some with gas checks).

I still use Missouri Bullet for the bullets I don't cast, they are great, and it seems like they are never backordered. My orders always arrived within a week, even during the really nutty period that now seems to be ending.
 
I just placed order with RMR useing Jake's 'vacation' 5% discount coupon, spoke with him on the fone - heckuva nice fella could hear his kids playing in the background.
he assured me the slugs are top notch. I have to use plated or jacketed in my Marlin Camps cast don't do well.

Montana gold bullets are not plated, they are jacketed bullets and not much more than plated. Well worth the money IMHO. Zero also has good deals on bullets when bought in bulk.

I've used a lot of extreme's plated bullets in the past. But not at $109.00/1000,(.40-155)! It seems like everybody raised prices when lead and copper were hard to find and expensive, now that they're down, they forgot to adjust their prices back down!

Extreme used to be west coast bullets. I've found them to be the heaviest plating of the big 3,(ranier, berrys, extreme), and ALL are double struck.
 
I've used TJ's many times for their bullets, in fact just ordered 2000 Berry bullets from them. Otherwise I use Bear Creek for moly coated lead. Ordered 2500 45 ACP 230 grainers just a few weeks ago and received them within 5 work days, not bad and neither was the cost, less than $213.00 delivered.
